Leadership Development

Our Client is a global consumer goods and paper company, operating in more than 90 countries.

The Challenge

WW was selected following a competitive tender to provide a leadership programme for experienced managers. At the time, it was expected to run for two years.

A three module programme has been developed in cooperation with all our client’s business groups. The overall aim is to develop visionary, authentic and confident leaders who manage themselves and others well, lead others to meet new challenges and help the business to grow at an operational and strategic level.

A deliberate effort is made to build networks between participants and to share awareness of best practices within the company.

The first module focuses on self-awareness and leadership behaviours, the second on teams, globalisation, coaching and innovation, and the third revisits learning from the first two modules and measures increased leadership capability through a delta 360 survey. In this way, the programme delivers tangible results.

The programme has been so successful that the Client has decided to extend it beyond the initial 2 years. To date, more than 500 managers have attended the programme. It has been updated several times, continues to attract very favourable reviews and is extremely popular.

There has been considerable interest in the tools and inventories presented on the programme, and WW frequently facilitates team events and workshops allowing participants to share the learning and cascade it to their own teams.
