John Nugent

John Nugent is a graduate of University of Salford, with an honours degree in Chemical Engineering. He also holds an MSc in Change Agent Skills and Strategies from University of Surrey. He has worked since 1996 as a Global Enterprise Consultant, initially specialising in process based organisational transformations, using methodologies such as lean six-sigma, process management and improvement, total quality management and business process redesign. In the last 10 years he has focused more on leadership, management and team development as well as personal, team and organisational change and transformation.

Since setting up his own business in 1996 he has worked collaboratively with other consulting companies, aiming to enable clients to create collaborative learning organisations that can sustain continual performance improvement, while transforming themselves to adapt to the changing needs of their customers, markets and environment. John’s strengths lie combining expertise in evidence-based improvement and collaborative learning methods, with an inspirational approach to working with the socio-emotional and political aspects of leading and managing change and transformation.

John is skilled in client-focused design and delivery of organisational and team change strategies and interventions, blended learning processes and experiential training programmes, as well as coaching and facilitation. He has an empathic, enthusiastic, engaging and facilitative style, that helps learners inquire and learn, evolve, develop, grow and transform themselves, as well as get the most out of events and programmes.

He has worked with a number of very large global organisations as well as small and medium sized enterprises in the UK. He has trained, facilitated and coached groups and individuals from Europe, the US, the Middle-East, Africa, Asia and Oceania countries. He has helped organisations deliver multi-million dollar benefits from enterprise improvement as well as dramatic reductions in lead times and increases in quality.
