John Nugent is a graduate of University of Salford, with an honours degree in Chemical Engineering. He also holds an MSc in Change Agent Skills and Strategies from University of Surrey. He has worked since 1996 as an enterprise improvement consultant, specialising in process based organisational transformations, using methodologies such as lean six-sigma, process management and improvement, total quality management and business process redesign. He is also experienced in leadership and team development as well as personal, team and organisational change and transformation.
Since setting up his own business in 1996 he has worked collaboratively with other consulting companies, aiming to enable clients to create learning organisations that can sustain continual performance improvement. John’s strengths lie combining expertise in evidence based improvement methods with an inspirational approach to working with the socio-emotional and political aspects of change and transformation. He has worked with a number of very large global organisations as well as small and medium sized enterprises in the UK. He has trained, facilitated and coached groups and individuals from Europe, the US, the Middle-East, Africa, Asia and Oceania countries. He has helped organisations deliver multi-million dollar benefits from enterprise improvement as well as dramatic reductions in lead times and increases in quality.
John is skilled in client focused design and delivery of organisational and team change strategies and interventions, learning processes and training programmes, as well as coaching and facilitation.
